The lessons on Food include cooking, food values, and the serving and preservation of foods. The lessons on Clothing comprise sewing, the principles of color in dress and home dressmaking. Those on Home Management will cover the art of managing the home, domestic hygiene, household equipment and appliances, home decoration, etc. By the end of the present year we hope to have all these courses completed at least in outline, and from which such imperfect initial presentation they will in the future be progressively enlarged and improved. The present bulletin deals with Clothing-Elementary Lessons in Sewing; the Principles of Color in Dress and Home Dressmaking. Part IV contains the twelve sewing projects of which each club member is to choose six as her practical work in the Home Economics Club. The work of our club members will be exhibited at local fairs and at the State Fair in competition.
