SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assem

bly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, Corporate name That the corporate name, style, and title, of the company inchanged. corporated under the act to which this is a supplement, be and

the same is hereby changed to the Muncy Bridge Company, by which name, style, and title, the business of the said company shall, hereafter, be managed and conducted, with the same effect as if the name thereof had not been changed; and all acts heretofore done by said company, under the name above

stated, be and are hereby ratified and confirmed. Votes.

SECTION 2. That each person shall be entitled to one vote, at all elections of said company, for every share of stock owned

by such person; and said votes may be given in person, or by Quorum. proxy; and a majority, of the president and managers of said

company, shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of bu

entering upon the duties of their office, give bond, if demanded by the president and managers, with one, or more, sufficient sureties, to the satisfaction of the said president and managers, conditioned for the faithful execution of the duties of their office, the accounting for, and payment of, all moneys by them received, according to law; and, in default thereof, it shall be the duty of said president and managers, to appoint some suitable person treasurer of said company; which person, so appointed, shall hold the said office, of treasurer, until the next election by the stockholders, on giving the security required, and until a successor shall be duly elected, and give the necessary security.

pany of Hummelstown, Dauphin county. SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represenatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the charter of the Hummelstown Mutual Fire Insurance Charter extendCompany of Hammelstown, Dauphin county, Pennsylvania, be ed. and the same is hereby continued, and extended, for the period of twenty years, from and after the expiration of its present charter, subject to all the provisions, limitations, restrictions, and privi. To extend the charter of the Mechanics’ Savings, Loan and Building Asso

ciation, located at Norristown, in the county of Montgomery. WHEREAS, The Mechanics’ Savings, Loan and Building Association, located at Norristown, in the county of Montgomery, was incorporated on the eighth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two, for the period of ten years, from the said eighth day of November:

And whereas, It is ascertained that the said corporation can not wind up, and carry out the objects, and purposes, of the charter, within the time therein limited, and the court of common pleas, by which it was incorporatedf has no power to extend the same; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate und House of Represen. tatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the charter of the Mechanics' Savings, Loan and Building Association, located at Norristown, in the county of Montgomery, be and the same is hereby extended for the further period of two years, to be computed from the time of the ex: piration of the ten years, for which the said charter has been granted: Provided however, That nothing herein contained, shall prevent the winding up of the affairs, and business, of said corporation, at any time hereafter, as soon as the objects, and purposes, for which it was incorporated, bave transpired.

sociation, in Montgomery county. WHEREAS, The Norristown Savings, Loan and Building Association, located at Norristown, Montgomery county, was incorporated on the twentieth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two, by the court of common pleas of Montgomery county, for the period of ten years, from the said twentieth day of May, Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two:

And whereas, It is ascertained that the said corporation can not wind up, and carry out the objects, and purposes, of its charter, within the time limited, and that the said court has no power to extend the same; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen. tatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the charter, and corporate privileges, of the Norristown Savings, Loan and Building Association, located at Norristown, in the county of Montgomery, be and the same is hereby extended, for the further period of two years, to be computed from the time of the expiration of the ten years, for which the said charter has been granted : Provided however, That nothing, herein contained, shall prevent the winding up of the affairs, and business, of said corporation, at any time hereafter, as soon as the objects, and purposes, for which it was incorporated, have transpired.

To the act incorporating the Newry Railroad Company. SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen: tatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the time for commencing and completing, the Newry railroad, as provided in the act incorporating said company, approved the fifteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine, be and the same is hereby extended three years, from the expiration of the time designated in said act.
