To his Excellency DAVID TOD, Governor of the State of Ohio: SIR-In compliance with your letter of the 15th instant, appointing Royal Taylor, in conjunction with the Secretary of State, to make an examination of the Treasury of the State of Ohio, provided for by the act of the General Assembly, passed April 12th, 1858, entitled "An act to establish the Independent Treasury of the State of Ohio," the undersigned "special examiner" and the Secretary of State report, that they have made the required investigation, and herewith submit. the results therec f, which will show the condition of the Treasury at the close of business, September 15th, 1862.
