The following table of statistics of the churches in the United States is taken from the special report of the Federal Census Bureau on the results of the religious census of 1906. It shows the number of religious bodies in each denomination, the number of organizations, the number of members and the increase in membership between 1890 and 1906: 160,125 600 51,838 Exclusive of 26 organizations in Alaska.
