AMMI RUHAMAH CUTTER, the founder of the Cutter Family of North Yarmouth, Maine, was a son of William and Rebecca (Rolfe) Cutter, of Cambridge, Mass., where he was born, 1705, and was baptized Mar. 6, 1705. He graduated at Harvard College in 1725, and Nov. 18, 1730, he was settled over the First Parish Church, North Yarmouth, Maine, being the first member of that society. He married, before 1735, 2 Dorothy Bradbury, a sister of Moses Bradbury of North Yarmouth, but formerly of Newburyport, Mass. She died June 17, 1776, aged 68 years.
