1 Doctor Gad Hitchcock, (a son of Dr. Gad Hitchcock of Abington, Mass, and a grandson of Rev. Gad Hitchcock), was boin at Pembroke, Mass., Apr. 18, 1788, and died at North Yarmouth, Maine, Nov. 17, 1837. He was the 562d member of the First Church, North Yarmouth, July 22, 1810. (See pages 64, 104, 1125.) He married,

2 Mary Lincoln Thaxter, (daughter of Gridley Thaxter, of Abington, Mass., and granddaughter of Gen. Benjamin Lincoln of the Revolutionary Army.) She was born at Abington, Mass., May 23, 1790, and died at North Yarmouth, Maine, Nov. 30, 1875. She was the 603d member of the First Church, North Yarmouth, Apr. 20, 1812 (p. 1018.)

He was the 349th member of the First Church, Aug. 22, 1790. He died Mar. 27, 1822, aged 74 years. (See pp. 64, 607, 962.) He married,
