Enable leaseholders of houses whose original A.D. 1926. leases were granted for a term of not less than thirty years to purchase the freehold estate and such other outstanding interests affecting the property on such equitable terms as, failing agreement, may be determined by the Minister of Health for the time being.

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the law so ad

Be it therefore enacted by the King's most Excellent 5 Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited for all purposes as the Short title. 10 Leasehold Enfranchisement (England and Wales) Act, 1926.
