They went from Chester co., Pa., to Ohio, and after a residence in various localities finally settled at White Ash, Alleghany co., Pa.

Joseph was by trade a wheelwright, which he followed a number of years at Dilworthtown, Chester co., Pa. He then purchased and removed to a farm in the Great Valley, west of Coatesville, same co., where they continued during his life. Esther now resides with her daughter near Conshohocken, Montgomery co., Pa.

Jacob was by trade a carpenter; he also had a small farm in East Bradford, Chester co., Pa. He very nearly lost his sight by the explosion of powder in a rock, which did not at first ignite, but went off on his return to it. After this they removed to West Chester, Pa.

After her death he m. second wife, Jane Wright, the eldest sister of his daughter-in-law, Rachel (see No. 793). She d. Mar. 28, 1852.

Titus was a miller; he was for some years at the mill belonging to Westown Boarding-school, then removed to New Garden twp., near Avondale, Chester co., Pa. He remained here during life, and was much respected in his neighborhood.

Joseph Pahnee

Joseph and Mary resided on a portion of his father's land, which he purchased, and erected thereon buildings. His occupations were blacksmithing and farming.

Grace was the youngest of ten ch. of Thomas Minshall and Agnes Salkeld, the latter being a dau. of John Salkeld the elder (see No. 195). She was b. 10 mo. 25, 1714; d. 1 mo. 14, 1813, nearly completing a century.

Newlin followed farming, resided in Birmingham, Delaware co., Pa., but towards the close of his life lived with his dau. Phebe Ann and son-in-law, Charles Young, at Concordville, Pa. All of the above were buried in Concord Friends' ground.
