Amend the Dentists Act, 1921.

E it enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, 5 as follows:

A.D. 1926.

1. Nothing in section five of the Dentists Act, 1921, Amendment shall operate to prevent the carrying on of the business to section of dentistry by a society registered under the Industrial five of and Provident Societies Act, 1893, or the Friendly Act, 1921. 10 Societies Act, 1896:

(a) if the business of such society so far as it relates
to the business of dentistry is under the control
and management of a superintendent who is a
duly registered dentist whose name has been
forwarded to the registrar appointed under the
Dentists Act, 1921, to be entered by him in a
register to be kept for that purpose;

(b) if in every premises where such business as
aforesaid is carried on, and is not personally
conducted by the superintendent, such business
is bonâ fide conducted by a manager or assistant
who is a duly registered dentist;

(c) if all the operating staff are registered dentists.

Make provision for reducing in respect of certain A.D. 1926. services the charges on public funds and for increasing, by means of the payment into the Exchequer of certain sums and otherwise, the funds available for meeting such charges, and to amend accordingly the law relating to national health insurance, unemployment insurance, the registration of electors and the holding of elections, education, bankruptcy and companies winding-up fees and certain other fees, and postmarks, and for purposes related or incidental to the matters aforesaid.
