THE HEPATIC STIMULANT

Is prepared from Chionanthus Virginica, for physicians' prescriptions, and has been proven the remedy for Biliousness, Jaundice, Dyspepsia, Constipation, and all diseases caused by Hepatic Torpor.

Its action is that of an hepatic stimulant, and not that of a cathartic. It does not purge, per se, but under its use the Liver and Bowels gradually resume their normal functions. DOSE-One to two fluid drachms, three times a day.

PEACOCK'S BROMIDES,

THE IDEAL SEDATIVE

Is prepared exclusively for physicians' prescriptions, each fluid drachm representing 15 grains of combined chemically pure Bromides of Potassium, Sodium, Calcium, Ammonium and Lithium. It is indicated in Uterine Congestion, Headache, Epilepsy, and all Congestive, Convulsive and Reflex Neuroses.

It is absolutely uniform in purity and therapeutic power, and can always be relied upon to produce clinical results which can not possibly be obtained from the use of commercial bromide substitutes.

DOSE-One to two fluid drachms in water, three times per day.

BOSTON UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE.

TWENTY-THIRD YEAR.

In 1878 this School was the first one in America to establish a graded four years course of study. This has proved so successful that it has now been adopted by every one of the acknowledged homeopathic colleges in this country and by some of the best allopathic schools. Soon four years of preparatory study will be an essential requirement for any physician who desires to take a responsible position in the profession.

The work of this School so far as practicable is done in laboratories and clinics. It has extensive anatomical, physiological, pathological microscopical and chemical laboratories in which the students can perfect themselves in the various branches. In the chemical department there are tables and lockers for 126 students. It has 60 microscopes and sufficient laboratory space that they can all be used at the same time. In its Hospital and Dispensary 20,000 patients are annually available for clinical study and not less than 300 obstetric cases are attended annually by the advanced students under the directions of the professor.

The session of 1895-6 will begin on October 7th. For the Announcements or further information, send to I. T. TALBOT, M. D., Dean, 685 Boylston St., Boston.
