B. REPORT OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. To the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin : The Executive Committee, having in charge the affairs of the Institution, during the recess of the Board, have held meetings from time to time, as the business affairs of the University seemed to require, and have acted upon such special matters as the Regents have directed. REPORT OF THE TREASURER. To the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin: The Treasurer of the University, respectfully submits his annual report, containing a detailed statement of the receipts and disbursements of his office during the fiscal year, commencing on the 1st day of October, 1858, and closing on the 30th ultimo: from which it will appear that the receipts of the year, have amounted to the sum of $40,517.79, and the disbursements for the same time, to the sum of $35,453.48; leaving in the treasury at this date, a balance of $5,064.31, to meet the salaries of Professors, and defray the current expenses of the University for the remainder of the year 1859.
