Reflecting recent trends in library administration are Automation and the Library of Congress, Libraries and Automation, The MARC Pilot Project Final Report, and the MARC II Format. Among other publications which serve as basic texts for the library profession generally are classification schedules, subject headings used in the LC dictionary catalogs, and manuals of filing rules and cooperative cataloging.
