Mallory, Kathleen Moore, Missionary Secretary, of 1111 Age-Herald Building, Birmingham, Ala., was born on Jan. 24, 1869, in Summerfield, Ala. Malott, Michael Harvey, Banker, of Abilene, Kan, was born Sept. 21. 1865, in Bedford, Ind. He was educatel at the Pedford High School. For fort years he has been banker of Abilene, Kan., and is president of the Citizens Bank, and also treasurer, a position hold for twy-six years. Manney, Charles Fonteyn, a Musician and Composer, of 178 Tremont Street, Boston, Mass.. was born on Feb. 8, 1872, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was educated at the Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute, and studied music in New York and Boston with W. A. Fisher, Wallace Goodrich and Percy Goetschius. Since 1898 he has been associate-editor for Ditson Tompanv in Boston, and is now conductor of the MacDavell Club Chorus. He has made a name as composer of over fifty graceful and individual songs, Ditson, Shirmer. Schmidt; the Songeycle, A Shropshire Lad. Manning, Isaac Hall Physician, Chapel Hill N.C., was born in 1866 in Pittsboro, N.C. He was educated at the University of North Carolina. Marshall, Frank James, Chess Player, of New York City, was born Aug. 10, 1877, in New York City. He won the

chess championship of the United States from Jackson W. Showalter in a match in 1909; and holds world record for one hundred and twenty-nine games in Montreal in six hours.
