The National Interest in the Education of Youth, by Newton Edwards, a forthcoming publication of the American Youth Commission of the American Council on Education, is a revision of a preliminary staff study by Dr. Edwards for the Advisory Committee on Education. The Advisory Committee has consented to the publication of the study in this manner because of the fact that Dr. Edwards had completed much of the work under other auspices before he joined the staff of the Advisory Committee.
