The above salaries and allowances to the Lord Advocate and the Solicitor-General are to cover all business of whatever sort done by them in virtue of their offices. † Personal salary. The Lord Advocate's Messenger also receives from Subhead K 501. a year as Macer in the Court of Justiciary. The Crown Agent occasionally receives fees of 51. 5s. a day and expenses, when specially required in London, from Subhead H.1. Personal to the present holder. The Advocates Depute occasionally receive fees from Subhead D in cases of appeals, &c. Three of these Clerkships are held at present by the same person. E.
