Amazing to learn about my family history. My dads father was Ellis Ray Turner appears to be half sibling of infant Bushrod Washington. His mother was Dovie Ann Hill Turner and George Turner. Now here it gets tricky. My grandmother was Nora Hill. She married Ellis Ray Turner. Noras father was Brice Hill her mother was Lucinda Morris Hill. Brices father was john franklin hill his mother Frances Hill. Lucindas mom was Fannie Prince Morris. Father James Madison Morris.
There are inaccuracies in this book, particularly with the Colburn family. They list Thomas (born 1674) as a son of Edward Colburn who died 1700.
1) Edward Sr. had an Edward Jr. not mentioned as a son
2) Edward Sr. had a son named Thomas, but he was born in 1648, not in 1674.
3) Thomas born in 1648, had a son named Thomas born in 1674...
While there may be some accuracy, it will definitely throw everything off if you attempt to use this as your information...
