HOW TO TABULATE AGE-GRADE-PROGRESS STATISTICS BY GRADES IN SEMIANNUAL-PROMOTION SCHOOLS Form II, given previously, should suffice for tabulating enrollment in nursery and kindergarten in all schools, whether operating on the annual or the semiannual basis, since these units are not affected by the semiannual-promotion procedures of the elementary school. Forms VII to X may be used in tabulating age-grade-progress data by half grades. The number of half grades spent in school is designated by the phrase "terms in school." Data for several classes of the same half-grade should be brought together on such forms, with the normal age and grade ranges indicated to show the situation for each grade for the school system as a whole.
