As regards Tobacco, the quantity of unmanufactured Tobacco retained for home consumption has been arrived at by deducting the quantity of Tobacco manufactured in the United Kingdom and exported on drawback, over-entries, and exports after payment of duty, from unmanufactured Tobacco entered for home consumption. The figures for manufactured Tobacco represent the quantities entered for home consumption, less the quantities over-entered and those exported after payment of duties.
