* In addition to this sum, a contribution of 2,770l. received from the Endowment Fund of the Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction towards the cost of a Smithy and Foundry and additional works in connexion with the Mechanical and Engineering Laboratory has been expended. REPORT OF THE COMPTROLLER AND
AUDITOR GENERAL.

As no expenditure was incurred on the above service during 1920-21, an account for that year was not presented to Parliament.

With the expenditure of 1107. shown on the Account for 1921-22, the funds provided in accordance with the provisions of this Act, with the exception of a sum of 2s. 7d., which has been repaid to the Exchequer, are exhausted and no further account will be rendered.
