The Accounts of goods imported do not include certain
goods which, at the time of importation, were the property
of His Majesty's Government or the Governments of the
Allies. The Accounts of goods exported include goods
bought in the United Kingdom by, or on behalf of, the
Governments of the Allies, but do not include goods taken
from British Government Stores and Depôts, or goods
bought by His Majesty's Government and shipped on
Government vessels.
Full particulars of the Import and Export trade in each Article and with each
Foreign country and British possession, for a period of five years, are contained
in the “Annual Statement of the Trade of the United Kingdom." Detailed
information as to Shipping is published in the "Annual Statement of the
Navigation and Shipping of the United Kingdom." The first and second volumes
of the "Annual Statement of Trade of the United Kingdom" for 1914 have
been issued. The "Annual Statement of the Navigation and Shipping of the
United Kingdom" will be ready shortly.
