"Authorized representative" means the subordinate official to which a principal official has delegated author- ity to act on a particular matter or a class of matters. The Director, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is frequently the authorized representative of the Secretary of the Interior, as also may "Officer in charge" means any § 1.6 Person.
