Officers of the Royal Air Force serving at the Air Ministry receive the pay and allowances of their rank, plus an allowance for additional responsibility, as follows: · Flight-Lieutenants and Flying Officers-717. per annum. Squadron Leaders and above-947. 10s. per annum, except in the case of those holding posts as Directors and Deputy Directors, and receiving consolidated rates fixed by the Treasury. Provision is made under this subhead for a contribution towards the cost of the Wireless Telegraphy Board at the Admiralty, the work of which is on behalf of all three fighting services.
