The undersigned citizens of Tuscarora, Elko County, Nevada, respectfully represent that the people of this part of the State of Nevada have for many years been suffering from the extortionate charges for freight and fares upon the railroads of this State.

We therefore respectfully request your honorable body to take some action tending to relieve your petitioners and looking toward a cure for this crying evil, and a longsuffering people will ever pray.

The Speaker announced that Mr. Tighe had committed a grave breach of decorum in marrying during the adjournment of the House, and called upon Mr. Ray to express the sentiments of the House to Mr. Tighe.
