STANDING COMMITTEE B, to whom the SCHOOL TEACHERS (SUPERANNUATION) BILL was referred ;Have gone through the Bill and made Amendments thereunto.

SCHOOL TEACHERS (SUPERANNUATION) BILL.

Clause 1.

Amendment proposed, in page 1, line 6, to leave out the word" April," and insert the word "July "-(Mr. Morgan Jones), instead thereof. Question, "That the word April' stand part of the Clause,"-put, and negatived.

Question put, "That the word 'July' be there inserted." -The Committee divided:-

Another Amendment proposed, in page 1, lines 7 and 8, to leave out the words "Parliament otherwise determines," and insert the words "the first day of July, nineteen hundred and twenty-four"-(Mr. Fisher),-instead thereof. -Question, "That the words proposed to be left out stand part of the Clause," put, and negatived.

Question, "That those words be there inserted,"-put, and agreed to.
