§ 2.1 Regional or arca offices.

The program operations of the Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife are performed in various types of field instalfish lations. They include national hatcheries, national wildlife refuges, game management agent districts, wildlife service districts and research laboratories. All field installations, except those engaged in research, are supervised by a regional or area director who has jurisdiction over Bureau activities in the State or States encompassed by his region or area. Unless otherwise stated for a particular matter in the regulations, all persons may secure from the regional or area offices information or make submittals or requests, as well as obtain forms and instructions as to the scope and contents of papers or reports required of the public.

§ 2.2 Locations of regional or area offices.

The geographic jurisdictions and addresses of the Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife regional or area offices are as follows:

(a) Alaska Area Office (comprising the State of Alaska), 6917 Seward Highway, Anchorage, Alaska 99502.

(b) Pacific Region (Region I-comprising the States of California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington) Post Office Box 3737, Portland, Oreg. 97208.

(c) Southwest Region (Region 2comprising the States of Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming)) Post Office Box 1306, Albuquerque, N. Mex. 87103.

(d) North Central Region (Region 3comprising the States of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin) Federal Building, Fort Snelling, Twin Cities, Minn. 55111.

(e) Southeast Region (Region 4comprising: (1) The States of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky. Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia; and (2) The District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands), Peachtree-Seventh Building, Atlanta, Ga. 30323.

§ 3.2

Federal financial assistance.

The provisions of 43 CFR Part 17, which implements Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, are applicable to any program or activity for which Federal financial assistance is provided under any law administered by the Bureau, including the programs and activities that are federally assisted under the laws listed in Appendix A of 43 CFR Part 17. § 3.3 Discrimination by contractors and permittees prohibited.

The provisions of Part III of Executive Order 10925 (3 CFR, 1959-1963 Comp. p. 448) and the provisions of Executive Order 11114 (3 CFR, 1959-1963 Comp. p. 774), as they may be amended, and the regulations of the President's Council on Equal Opportunity, the President's Committee on Equal Employment Opportunity, contained in 41 CFR Part 60, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission are applicable to all agreements, or modifications thereof, between the Bureau and any person for supplies, services or facilities, or for the use of any Government property, services or facili
