Due to the increased cost of fuel consequent upon the coal stoppage (1,4007.), set off by reduction in the number of lighting points in the London Parks during the strike period. Appropriations in Aid and Receipts payable to Exchequer :-The receipts from Richmond Park Golf Courses 6,6761., included under Rents, exceeded the estimate by 1,750. There was a net reduction on other services, which offset this increase by 3091. The differences under the other heads of this subhead were of a casual nature. G.-The sum of 31. was paid as compensation for golf clubs, &c., lost at the Richmond Park Golf Courses. L.-A claim for 107. 19s. 7d., for damage to a lamp standard on Constitution Hill by a motor cab, was abandoned. The Company with which the owner of the cab was insured went into liquidation, no dividend being declared, and attempts to recover from the owner failed (S.29891).
