The Society convened in the Chittenden County Court House in Burlington, on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 10 o'clock a. m., and was called to order by the President, Dr. J. H. Linsley of Burlington.

Prayer was offered by the Rev. P. M. Snyder of Burlington.

PRAYER.

Our Heavenly Father, we thank Thee that Thou hast committed the coming of Thy kingdom and the doing of Thy will on the earth, not to the ministry of the angels, but to the faithfulness and the loving kindness of men.
