The arrangement of this Report follows in general that of the Report for the year ending 30th September, 1926. It should be noted that, except in Table 1, Part II, the tables refer only to Regimental Strength. Consequently they do not include men serving on the Staff and in sundry miscellaneous Establishments, such as Military Detention Barracks, Schools of Instruction, etc., nor do they include the Permanent Staff of the Territorial Army, or the Supplementary Reserve.
