The first session of the Twenty-eighth Annual Convention of the American Institute of Architects was held in the forenoon of Monday October 15, 1894, in the Fine Arts Building, 215 West 57th Street, New York City. The Convention was called to order at 11 o'clock A. M., by the President, Daniel H. Burnham, of Chicago; Alfred Stone of Providence, Rhode Island, acting as secretary. A copy of the last published Proceedings having been mailed to each Fellow of the Institute, and not having been objected to, the same were declared approved.
