ACT, 1899.

(62 & 63 VICT. c. 47, s. 2 (3).)

REPORT by the CHAIRMAN of COMMITTEES of the HOUSE OF LORDS and the CHAIRMAN of WAYS and MEANS in the HOUSE OF COMMONS.

REPORT by the CHAIRMAN of COMMITTEES of the HOUSE OF LORDS and the CHAIRMAN of WAYS and MEANS in the HOUSE OF COMMONS under Section 2 of THE PRIVATE LEGISLATION PROCEDURE (SCOTLAND) ACT, 1899.

WE have taken into consideration the several Draft Provisional Orders for which petitions, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and the General Orders thereunder, were presented to the Secretary for Scotland on or before the 17th April 1907, and we hereby report as follows:

We are of opinion

1. That the provisions of

The City of Glasgow Order

are of such a character that they ought to be dealt with by Private Bill, and not by Provisional Order :

2. That, save as aforesaid, the Provisional Orders be allowed to proceed, subject to such recommendations as we may hereafter make with respect to the several Orders.
