Total Estimate

The excess is due to the fact that the expenditure defrayed to
31st March 1905 proved less than had been anticipated when Expenditure to 31st March 1906
the Estimate for this year was prepared, the result being to
increase the proportion of the total cost chargeable thereto.

Balance

A portion of the original scheme has been deferred, other
proposals for accommodating the Parcel Work being under
discussion.
