1. EXPENDITURE in excess of the Estimate has taken place under Sub-Heads B, F, and G.
New Works, 2. A Statement of Expenditure on “ New Works, &c.,” included under Sub-Heads Sub-Heads A and F, is appended to the Account. Treasury sanction has been obtained, where A and F.
necessary, for expenditure not provided for in the Estimate and for excesses.

modation.” It is estimated that a further sum of 80,0001. will be required out of Voted Moneys for the Residences for the First Lord and the Senior Naval Lord, in lieu of existing residences to be appropriated to official business. The first instalment (10,0001.) of this amount was voted for the service of the year under report, and the sum of 5,4601.-8.11d. is shown to have been expended on this New Work under Item 1 of Sub-Head A.
