STATEMENT shewing the Scheme of Agreement between the Ordnance Factories Balance Sheet and Credits under Appropriations in Aid of Ordnance Factories Vote 1905-06.
ORDNANCE FACTORIES ESTIMATE.
I. ESTIMATE of the Sum required in the Year ending 31st March 1908, to defray the Expense of the ORDNANCE FACTORIES, the Cost of the Productions of which will be charged to the Army, Navy, and Indian and Colonial Governments, &c.
ESTIMATE of anticipated INCOMINGS and OUTGOINGS in respect of CAPITAL in the ORDNANCE FACTORIES during the Year 1907-08.
(c) With quarters in addition.
(d) When the appointment is held by a Major the salary is 550l.
(e) When the appointment is held by an officer above the rank of Second-Lieutenant the salary is 4007.
(1) With quarters in addition for one.
(g) One of these Principal Clerks receives an allowance of 501. for acting in the absence of the Civil Assistant.
(h) One Senior Clerk rises, on an old scale, to a maximum of 6007., and one receives an additional allowance of 1007., chargeable to Vote 13, Subhead E, of the Army Estimates.
(i) One Senior and two Clerks at Enfield and one Senior and one Clerk at Waltham Abbey have quarters in addition. (k) After two years' probation on 1007. a year.
(1) Includes pay of two supernumerary to establishment.
