EXECUTIVE ORDER ) No. 16, Executive Order Numbered Two, series of nineteen hundred and six. is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following: 'Provided, That the provisions of this order shall not apply to sites purchased for school purposes by provincial or municipal governments when the Governor-General shall be satisfied as to the title conveyed by the deed, or when a proper indemnifying bond, to be approved by the Governor-General, given by the person selling the site, shall accompany said deed: And provided further, That, in case a school site is offered to a provincial or municipal government for a stipulated term of years, or for the time during which the province or municipality may desire to use the same for school purposes, the construction thereon of school buildings, to be paid for in whole or in part from public funds, may be authorized by the Secretary of Public Instruction when, in his judgment, the cost and nature of the buildings is such as to warrant the erection thereof on the sites offered under the above-described conditions. "Nothing, however, in the foregoing shall be construed to authorize any provincial or municipal government to desist from or delay the diligent prosecution of proceedings in the Court of Land Registration for the acquisition of an official certificate of title in every case where a school site is bought by such provincial or municipal government." Por la presente se reforma la Orden Ejecutiva Número Dos de la serie de mil novecientos seis, añadiendo al final de la misma le siguiente: “Entendiéndose, Que las disposiciones de esta Orden no se aplicarán á los solares comprados por los gobiernos provinciales ó municipales para fines escolares cuando el Gobernador General esté satisfecho acerca dez título transferido por la escritura, ó cuando acompañe á ésta una fianza suficiente de indemnización prestada por el vendedor del solar y sujeta á la aprobación del Gobernador General; Y entendiéndose, además, Que en el caso de que se ofrezca á un gobierno provincial ó municipal un solar para escuela por un número convenido de años ó por el tiempo que la provincia ó el municipio desee usarlo para fines escolares, el Secretario de Instrucción Pública puede autorizar la construcción en el mismo de edificios para escuelas que hayan de ser total 6 parcialmente costeados con fondos públicos, cuando á su juicio el costo y la indole de dichos edificios sean tales que aconsejen la |
