This Bill is intended to reproduce in a consolidated form the permanent law relating to the housing of the working classes in England and Wales. It does not incorporate, but leaves outstanding, the temporary measures which have been passed for the purpose of encouraging building in the immediate future to meet the present shortage of housing accommodation.
